Building Healthier Communities Through Awareness, Education & Early Detection.
Community Health
Healthier Communities Through Prevention
The Diabetes Awareness & Prevention Program is a community health initiative focused on increasing awareness, promoting early screening, and supporting healthy lifestyle choices to reduce the risk and impact of diabetes.
Diabetes is one of the fastest-growing chronic conditions in Canada and globally, and many people remain undiagnosed until complications arise. This program closes that gap through education, outreach, and accessible screening.
